Back down to Eden Valley for our last event of the season. I spent a long time debating if I should do the BE90 - we are ready in the SJing and XC - it's just the DR still letting us down. In the end I decided to end the season feeling positive so stuck at the BE80T and boy I'm glad I did. We rode our best DR to date - a 37 so a vast improvement on Drumclog. I was actually smiling in my test as I was so pleased with Corks. Still a way to go but a good end to the season. His SJ and XC was foot perfect taking it all in his stride. We finished on our DR of 37 for 7th place - ended up only being 3 points off the winner.
What a great first season - I have learned so much and met so many lovely people. Onwards and upwards to next season. I am aiming to go straight in at BE90, and to move up to BE100 by the end of the season. Corky is going to have a mini holiday and then get back into work concentrating on our flatwork as looking at the scores in the BE90s I have a lot of work to do!
